Healthy Development

Maria Montessori understood the early years of a child’s life are key to a child’s development. When children are able to grow with their social, emotional and educational needs being met, then you have an environment that is conducive to healthy development. This is the foundation of our approach at Arbor View Montessori preschool in Roseville, CA.

Development Milestones

Remember when you child said "mama" or "dada," took his or her first step and waved "bye-bye" the first time? These are called developmental milestones.

Children reach milestones in how they play, learn, speak, behave, and move. They also develop at their own pace, but you can’t know precisely the moment these milestones will happen. Still, at Arbor View Montessori we do know generally when to expect these changes.

Our Montessori classes rooms are divided into age groups:

  • Infant
  • Toddler
  • Preschool
  • Kindergarten

The curriculum of each classroom anticipates and fosters milestone development with specially trained teachers who help your child fully develop his or her potential.
